1. First, decide on your Website Level.
Go to the Designs page and choose the level of website that will suit your business needs. The Simplicity Series is not available for the workshops.
2. Book and pay for your workshop.

Click on any of the "Book" buttons on any page and fill out the booking form. The booking form will give you two booking options depending on which level of website you require: E-Commerce series or Marketing Savvy series. Simply fill out the forms and make a secure ANZ / EWAY payment online.
3. What to bring to the workshop
A laptop with a wireless internet connection. All your work throughout the workshop will done online. If you don't have a laptop with a wireless internet connection, you can order through the booking from the webshop and we will arrange one for you for the 2 days. At the workshop a series of simple questions will be asked so you can order your website customisations, (Which will be built over night). At this point you will be asked to provide various elements such as a logo, a slogan, and a hero shot. To make the process a smoother experience it is best to have these elements ready. However if you don’t have these elements you can add them later. Visit the Webshop to see if we can organise any of these elements for you. Eg. Order Logo Design. If you are renting a laptop for the workshop, be sure to have all the information you need on USB memory stick.
Here is an example of the elements you may require for your website customisations:
LOGO
If you have a logo, have it handy in an .jpg or .doc file to upload when asked. If it is on a coloured background, our artists can cut the logo out and combine it with the website background. If you don't have a logo, you can order a logo design from the web shop or provide your own logo later.
DOES YOUR BUSINESS HAVE A SLOGAN?
If so, it will go in the top of the homepage in approximately this position. You can always add this later as well.
PHONE NUMBER
It is important that potential customers can contact you. We recommend you have a telephone number handy to go on the front of your website. If you don't, we can leave it blank.
HEADER IMAGE OR 'HERO SHOT'
This is an image that sets the tone for your site and represents your business activity. You can select one from our library of generic images and preview it in your design or go to an online photo library like www.istockphoto.com and buy one for as little as $2.
SOME DESIGNS HAVE TEXT WRITTEN OVER THE HERO SHOT
This can be a slogan or important information about your company, product or service. If you choose this, the artist will find an appropriate place on your image to place it. The inside template variation is usually very much like the home page layout, except it does not have the 'hero shot' or header image. This makes it easier to organise information in those pages and people can find the information they want quickly.
TOP LEVEL MENU ITEMS
Most websites are organized under a handful of top level menu pages. The other pages appear in drop-down menus once you hover your mouse over the top level ones. As you go through the order builder, you will choose your top level menu item pages and an appropriate layout for each page. This does not mean that they are the only pages you can have – you can add as many pages as you like later, or you can order page packs from our webshop later and have us set them up for you.
4. Information will be sent.
After you have booked and paid information will be sent to you via email reminding you of what to bring, and confirming the workshop times and location. If at anytime you require other information or have any other queries please don't hesitate to call us at 07 5444 7890 or email Natalie Fuller at natalie@piperdm.com
